Father's Day cards using Authentic Man

I am using Unity's Ippity Authentic Man of which I am an Ippity Chic so if you want this set go to UnityStampCo.com and select my name Annette Marlow, then select the set Authentic Man.  I also used DCWV Guy Stack paper as well as some scrap card stock I had laying around that was begging to be used up.

With that being said, here are my cards!

New Ippity Projects

I just love this lil guy that Dana Carlson with the Unity Stamp Company designed for this stamp set.  One of THOSE days has so many possibilities when making cards with this stamp set.  I made two right off the bat!

Father's Day Ride

I got some stamps from Unity's Ippity line.... of which I'm an Ippity Chick, so if you want this set be sure to click my name Annette Marlow to get your set called Authentic Man!

I used some DCWV The Guy Stack paper I purchased last year prior to moving to Hawaii and was so happy how well this came together!

Happy Mother's Day head start

With May right around the corner why not get started on some Mother's Day cards?!.... My Momma is extra special in my life, as she has been both parents for as long as I and my lil sister can remember.  She was always the one there to support us even if she knew at the end we'd be on our rear ends, but we learned from the experience/lesson.  When I was in school, she bought me my first car... and took it away lol... but I was responsible for my car insurance, maintenance and any traffic violations I may have gotten... which by the way... I got my first 3 in one setting... ugh.... I was terrified to tell my Momma, but at the end of the day it actually wasn't my fault, but I still had to pay for them.  Sorry regressing lol... but my point is, we did chores, paid our own bills and even though back in school I was so discouraged because all my friend's parents paid for their cars, insurance, maintenance and tickets.  I was working a full time job and going to school, got kicked off the tennis team because I couldn't attend all the practices due to work.... Now... I'm 32 years old and realize it was a life lesson.  I am so happy that my Momma did what she did.  I see a majority of my friends and acquaintances from school that can't handle their finances or hold a job.  I am very thankful for my Momma.  I was by no means a perfect angel but considering what trouble I could have been with some of my friends.... My Momma did a GREAT job raising me so I've been working on cards to send her each day of May for Mother's Day all the way up to the day then her Birthday follows shortly after... she's going to be so sick of me, eh oh well... she still will love me ;)
For this card I decided to use the ever so pretty Unity Stamp of the Week Blooming Mama's Day.
When I very first started out stamping I was using The Angel Company, then I moved onto Stampin Up, now I am an avid shopper of Unity.  I still purchase Stampin Up as well as Close To My Heart.  Close To My Heart is fairly new to me as well, I love their "while supplies last" sales!  Every Wednesday I receive my Stamp of the Week from Unity and I just love them!

Sweet Thoughts of Spring

Unity is holding a blog hop/Challenge to show off the artist in you using Unity Stamps!  With this in mind and being Easter is right around the corner so what a great opportunity to show off some Ippity Easter Stamps?!... I love this set, it's so cute and whimsical.  I love that you can stamp the images onto pattern paper or just plain white paper to color to your heart's content!  I made a variety of cards using this stamp set and this stamp set alone.  I still have a few more sitting on my desk that I am working on as well to show of the lil chick.  I am also going to be showing off another stamp set starting tomorrow so be ready for them!
So without further waiting... using some scraps that have been piling up in my scrappy bag, here are the cards!

I may have to re-take some pictures as the lighting is just so wrong ;0(  One of the cons of living here in Hawaii when it gets cloudy... it stays that way for a few days...
Well that's it for now, I've got to get to work on the other cards and the other stamp set!  Remember you can order this stamp set by clicking my name *Annette Marlow* and adding to your cart at Unity Stamps Ippity Chicks.

Raining Happy

So it's been awhile since I have been able to get to my blog.... ugh.... The move to Hawaii was pretty smooth, we got here in Sept, received our HHG (house hold goods) the last week of October.  Our previous neighbors flooded our home along with theirs *sigh*... Oh I forgot that it was the day AFTER we received our HHG so most of our furniture and unpacked boxes got wet.  Got my oldest enrolled in school, getting my lil guy used to the separation from his brother...  Maintenance/DKI came and repaired our floors after Christmas.. YaY!... We are still having repairs made due to the flooding but things are finally slowing down to where I can focus on my stamping!  Oh how I have missed my antique typewriting desk that I bought specifically for my crafting needs.  I am loving it here in Hawaii, the weather here is beautiful even when it's raining.  Speaking of rain.. wow have we been getting a lot of it the last few days!  When I received the Ippity Itty Bitty I was smitten with it!  How appropriate and fitting?!  Raining Happy... yes... yes it is.  We are so happy that we are able to still enjoy our time together regardless of all the rain!  So this is what I've been working on...

I love it!  I used the raindrop background from Unity Stamps Kit Of the Month February and of course Ippity Itty Bitty!  I will be posting a video tutorial for this card so be sure to check back!  To purchase the Ippity Itty Bitty go to UnityStampco.com, click on my name: Annette Marlow then it will take you back to the main UnityStampCo.com page, on the left side under categories Click Itty Bitty (Ippity) next click on Add to Cart :0).  I love the prices of the stamps for the GREAT quality!  Don't forget to order your Kit of the Month too!!... It's $31.00 a month and that includes shipping and handling.  You can purchase past kits as well.  The kit I used for the raindrop background is February's which you can find here.
